Sundays

Hope Church meet every Sunday, 10.30am to 12.15pm at the Orwell Centre. When you visit us, it is our aim that you feel welcomed, relaxed and that you enjoy the experience. Each Sunday will include a time of prayer, singing to God as well as relevant preaching from the Bible. Come and join us you would be most welcome!

What Goes On

Our Sunday morning meetings start at 10.30am and are fairly relaxed. You will see we love to express our thanks to God together and hear from Him through music, teaching and prayer. This is because we believe the Bible is true and relevant today - that Jesus has risen again and still transforms lives.

For those who want to, there are opportunities to talk and pray with others. There's no dress code, and the collection is for church members - visitors are not asked to contribute.

At about 11am children go to their specific groups while in the main meeting we have about 35 minutes relevant preaching from the Bible.

The meeting ends around 12.15, with refreshments served afterwards.

Once a month there is a lunch provided at the Centre and all are welcome.

Children & Youth

Our children love church, on Sundays they go to their groups for fun teaching. Then each week we run various fun children's groups for ages 0-3yrs (crèche), 3-5yrs, 6-11yrs and 11-14. They are staffed by our excellent and committed children's workers who have been CRB checked. We also have a group for 14-18's which meets on Tuesdays and most Sundays.

Refreshments

After the Sunday meeting we enjoy an informal, relaxed time together. Drinks and biscuits are served. There is plenty of space to sit and chat, make new friends and browse our welcome information and find out about our Small Groups that meet in and around Ipswich during the week. Once a month, we provide an optional lunch together after the main meeting – which is a great opportunity to make friends.

Parking

There is plenty of parking both behind the Orwell Centre in our car park or directly across the main road opposite. Our welcome team will be ready to greet you at the door and assist you further if required.

Midweek

Midweek we meet together in Small Groups where we get to know each other better, encourage and support each other in sharing our faith, and relate Bible teaching to our everyday lives.
