Small Groups
In addition to meeting all together on a Sunday we also meet in small groups (usually 8-12 people) during the week in a variety of places at varying times. In the bible, the early church met frequently in both big gatherings and smaller groups.
Belonging to a Small Group Church life is worked out ‘on the ground’ in small-groups where people experience God together, develop friendships, serve and care for each other, and learn in practical terms what it means to follow Jesus. Small Groups grow and multiply by reaching out to show love to those around. This is our vision; to be friends together, on a mission; to take God's love across the street, across Suffolk and across the world.
Small Group leadership Those who look after Small Groups are trained and supervised by the church leadership so that groups do not become isolated or out of touch, through Small Group 'cluster leaders' who are there to support and encourage the small group leaders.
Vital community One essential aspect of being a member of Hope Church is to be part of a small group. We trust with the Holy Spirit's help we will grow together as a spiritually healthy community of God’s people who demonstrate the love of Jesus in and around the Ipswich area. We invite you to be part of this exciting adventure by participating in our small groups.
